Instant Conditioners

Instant conditioners are the most common type of hair conditioning products. These are applied shortly after shampooing for a little time before rinsing, instant conditioners are made using water, a conditioning agent, thickeners and lipids. Conditioning agents in these conditioners may involve cationic detergents, proteins or film removers. Positive in charge, cationic agents are attracted towards the negative charge of damaged hair. Film formers are also positive in charge (hence reduce the static electricity) and are formed by polymers and correct hair shaft thereby resulting smooth hair.

Instant hair conditioners condition hair and treat problems, such as hair loss and scalp irritability that are caused by alopecia, candida, psoriasis, and lupus. These conditioners are meant to be used directly from the bottle as they are premixed, and are applied immediately after shampooing. Some of the most common ingredients that are used in making instant hair conditioners are - Water (Aqua), cetyl alcohol, cocamide mea, stearalkonium chloride, dimethiconol, steramidopropyl dimethylamine, cetyl triethylammonium diemthicone copolyol phthalate, cetrimonium chloride, acetamide mea, hydroxyethylcellulose, stearyl alcohol, ascorbic acid, panthenol, retinyl palmitate, tocopheryl acetate, hydrolyzed wheat protein, hydrolyzed wheat starch, biotin, sodium benzotriazolyl butylphenol sulfonate, buteth-3, tributyl citrate, disodium EDTA and citric acid.

Usage Tips

• Shampoo your hair
• Immediately after shampooing, take the conditioner in your hand and rub with both hands to evenly distribute it
• Apply the conditioner all over your hair up to the tips in shower
• Leave it on the hair for 3 to 15 minutes
• Rinse it well using water and a clean dry cloth
