Instant conditioners are the most common type of hair conditioning products. These are applied shortly after shampooing for a little time before rinsing, instant conditioners are made using water, a conditioning agent, thickeners and lipids. Conditioning agents in these conditioners may involve cationic detergents, proteins or film removers. Positive in charge, cationic agents are attracted towards the negative charge of damaged hair. Film formers are also positive in charge (hence reduce the static electricity) and are formed by polymers and correct hair shaft thereby resulting smooth hair.
Instant hair conditioners condition hair and treat problems, such as hair loss and scalp irritability that are caused by alopecia, candida, psoriasis, and lupus. These conditioners are meant to be used directly from the bottle as they are premixed, and are applied immediately after shampooing. Instant conditioners generally contain additives, like herbal extracts, aloe, vitamins, balsam, and lanolin. These give sheen and nourishment to the hair but are only mildly conditioning.
Now days, herbal instant conditioners are also available in the market that are made using natural organic products to ensure healthy hair and scalp. These conditioners provide optimum rejuvenation, revitalization, and growth while addressing hair loss and thinning. Natural instant hair conditioners have found to be good for hair types but especially for problem hair, such as dry, dull, lifeless, fly away, unruly or thinning. Natural instant hair conditioners provide effective conditioning for matted and tangled ends and make the hair a delight to comb or brush out after showering.
